Kane and Son. What a deadly duo tonight :cautious:

I understand we don't have other choices ATM (other than White), but it is a disaster to start Winks and Hojberg together again

Votes for Kulusevski and Romero?????

(None deserved, Dier and perhaps Davies and Lloris only plausible options)

Dier and Lloris were good. The rest were a range of average to terrible. I expect these type of performances from Winks, Davies, PEH. They are squad players and have glaringly obvious limitations.

I am so disappointed in Kane and Son. Kane disappeared as the game went on and I don't think I have ever seen Son play as bad as that before - terrible on the ball.

Can someone tell Romero to stop marking at free kicks and corners as he has a very bad Pascal Chimbonda habit of ball watching.

Apart from Dier and Hugo the rest were dreadful.

Romero had the most extreme performance. Probably the one ray of light until he picked up that dumb yellow card for handbags, and after that was a disaster zone.

Dier probably kept his nose clean out of all of them over the 120 mins, apart from that though...... Massive pelters should go towards the forwards in particular. Epitomised the "can't be fucked tonight" stinky attitude minimal effort we got from the team overall.

i don’t think Kulu was too bad tonight looked more up for it than Son, and Kane just couldn’t get a sniff (cept for what seemed like a perfectly good goal…)

Winks and Son were absolute garbage. Son's worst performance in a Spurs shirt I rekon.

Whole team were bad and slowly got worse as they tired. Devine should have come on to freshen up the awful 2 in midfield.

What a miserable squad of players this is.

Kulusevski was so extreme, about half a dozen very decent involvements mixed with every other time he seemed to cough up the ball tamely. He had no work rate tonight and no energy. Son was the most disgraceful player out there in every aspect of the play and should have been hooked after 30 mins. Kane was breezed off the ball most of the time, shit work rate as well and didn't get out of 1st gear. I just think they epitomised the general malaise, not really plugged in for the game, ready to work and wanting it enough.

Lloris - 5 - Had a nice save. But you can see the players are losing trust with him, and his kicking.

Doherty - 6 - Started the game well. Then missed the open goal and kinda fell apart.
Sess - 6 - Another one who looked a bit more up for it in the first half, but then completely disappeared in the second.

Romero - 6 - Stupid yellow. And a few misplaced passes. But also defended well for most of the game.
Dier - 7 - Was solid throughout.
Davies - 6 - Looked a little out of it tonight. Was sluggish and showed very little will.

PEH and Winks - 4 - Both were awful. Both were cowards, i felt. Completely played off the pitch by Howson. They couldn't hold a candle to him. Shameful display.

Sonny - 4 - Yet another type of these games where he is away with the fairies, and simply looks like he doesn't care at all.
Harry - 6 - For effort. He was trying. But also had a very poor game in terms of passing and first touch.
Kulu - 5 - Looked exhausted after 35 mins. Seemed to slow down, and also struggled with passing, shielding and his touch.

Stevie B - 6 - Showed some moments of brightness. But, what's he gonna do, coming on in a game where your teammates attitude stinks?

Conte - 4. Same old lineup. Same style of play. Same tactics used against him. Same result. Yeah, the players let him down, as they do with every manager. But he could have tried a different approach, from just letting us sit parked in our own half, giving Boro far too much of the ball and letting them settle defensively. It was too easy for them. Just like it was too easy for Chelsea, Soton, Wolves, and Burnley.
