Come on, Mourinho deserves more than a 3rd of a season to sort out the mess. Levy knows that.

This is all getting a bit silly.
A lot of people never wanted him here, so instead of seeing the issues which are out of his hands are just bashing him, of course he needs to take some blame but to say he needs to go is a joke

Ambition an effort. Too much to ask against Norwich at home?
But we know what Mourinho is. We're not going the team pressing or playing expansive football. It's not quite the 19th century football he accused Big Sam of playing, but he's certainly not going to bring "modern" football.

I didn't want to sack Poch when we did to get him, but we're a team in transition so I think people should quell their expectations this season.

Can I change my vote now, was excited when he first come here and now I would take poch back in a millisecond, even with the shit he was serving up, seems no different really

But there is one massive massive key difference. Mourinho has got far more points than Poch did, without Kane and Lloris......

Why is Mourinho suddenly the man for the rebuild?!?

He was never sold or presented as one - he took the job with the ambition of turning the bulk of this squad into winners. lol

The general consensus is that his not a long term manager and the approach/style of play is utter shit so why ignore the clear signs and give him the summer?

A downward spiral accelerated by a terrible style of play - get rid ASAP

What will happen is he'll be given the summer and he'll be half heartedly backed in typical Levy style then get sacked by Xmas.

It's so predictable it's fucking easy.
I don’t believe in fate, but this... There’s, unfortunately, no other way.

Personally I disagree. Mourinho has inherited a team full of players who had zero confidence from the last year of Poch reign. A lot of them have gone past their sell by date, and we have had injury after injury to key players since the start of the season.

Add this to the fact that we have pretty much played 2 games a week since he joined and it all adds up to a very difficult job.

Poch needed to overhaul the squad. Mourinho needs to overhaul the squad. whoever is manager needs to.

but going by the track record, its not going to happen.

Mourinho will be under huge pressure because overall the results secondly the style of football a betting man will learn towards him losing it.

Personally he should get a pass this season come transfer window lets hope he is backed in the market

I really need to stop coming in this thread haha! Such fickle, impatient, childish fans.

Here is an exercise to help you get over it, go back and look at Poch’s first 20-25 games in charge at Spurs.........spoiler alert....his record was worse than Mourinho’s, yet I don’t remember seeing post after post after post saying that he should go.

There is a real agenda on here about Mourinho but unfortunately for the lot of you, it won’t change a damn thing. He will be here next season, I REPEAT, HE WILL BE HERE NEXT SEASON.

His record may have been worse but you could see there was a gameplan and intent to win the game.

I can't see any of that since Mourinho arrived. Not even when he arrived and we won a couple of games. And it's getting worse with every game. The opposite of what happened with Pochettino at the beginning

His style of football will never fit here. The groans and moans of the crowd have started already. Hes on borrowed time.

So it's just 20 minutes of football? Not 45? Not the last 30? Sorry not following.
That's the total amount of mins we actually looked capable - It was the desperation of "Oh shit it didn't work, we better start playing football". If anyone can make excuses for that pile of shit, then your more optimistic than you should be. Battered a team that was clearly out on its feet, when in reality we should have taken the game to them from the off, not play like we're the ones at the bottom of the prem.

The same idiots who hashtagged #TrustPoch and #InPochITrust for 5 years without a single trophy are now calling for Mourinho’s head when he’s joined an absolute mess mid season. You fucking hypocrites.
Agreed.

It's the wrong head you're looking for you fools....

Your talking about this season and ignoring the previous ones ? Remind me where did we finish last season? The last full season Poch was in charge - the one which we got to a CL final

Sorry, I’ve seen this said a few times. Seriously people need to go back and look at the first 20-25 games. We were totally and utterly dreadful.

Someone, can’t remember who, did a game by game analysis of his first games and the team were a shambles and were playing some of the worst football I’ve seen at the Lane. Only once he cleared the decks and brought in the players who went with his philosophy did things start to change. Poch was given time by the fans, Mourinho is not being given the same.

Yea, like I said when he first joined I really thought is was a move in the right direction and I know we have picked up injuries but some were self inflicted, never giving Harry a rest, then never giving son a rest, son silly enough to get a red, Lloris having that awful fall but with him coming in I would have fault atleast we would have tighten up at the back, but we are playing full football with no end product while also conceding shit loads.

Then why does the team play properly at the end of most matches. It's like we wait for 80' and then give it a go.
I fail to see how can't you relate that to Mourinho. It's like someone said a couple of post before, we are shackled and in the last minutes Mourinho releases them
