Permafuct by injuries. One hole gets filled, two more open up.

I'm off to pout about it all.

Does Werner only know how to pass backwards
Given how fast he is, he doesn't use his pace as a weapon down the line enough so far. Early days though so maybe it can be trained.

If we had one of our creative players in midfield (Maddison, Kulu, Locelso) we'd clearly have created loads against this team, instead it's all a bit pedestrian. Sideways and backwards...

Lots of meaningless possession

guys like Werner and BJ look so timid

Missing Sarr a lot and Bissouma

defence v flaky today ironically despite all the players back
Yeah until last 5 minutes or so when we've gone sloppy, we were on top, but shooting and delivery not incisive enough

Johnson not been at it today. Werner's movement is very good, but his finishing and decision making need to be sharper

Højbjerg has been wasteful in possession.
He’s trying, it’s just not his strength is it. I think we all know Skipp and Hojbjerg are not a good fit for this system, but I don’t get the point of all the criticism they’re getting. Everyone else is injured or at a tournament. They are our best bet at the moment and still putting the effort it.

Skipp and Hojbjerg have actually been good. It’s Werner and Johnson who are disappointing. Werner to a lesser extent who has taken up some decent positions.
