Gutted about that result.
Looks like the f**king goons are gonna walk the league.
And how can we struggle to beat the top 4 when teams like city can do the double over united???
Plus now we're never gonna catch up with city.

It's always different when there's a derby. We recently beat Arsenal. There's always more to play for in these derby games. Man City have not won any of the other big clubs this season. They even lost by six goals against Chelsea.

City are better than us this season & United had a bad day at the office.

Yes but you can't honestly look at their team and say its better than ours. And even when we were in our prime in 05/06 we still didn't get one over the big four.

Games like this remind you that it is not only your own team that can piss you off big style. Imagine the ManU fans, game all teed up to be monumental. 1958, v ManC, top the league if they win, "special" shirts, start with all their movers (Nani, Anderson, Ronaldo, Giggs, tevez, Scholes) and they turn in an insipidly wank performance like that against a team that has only won two away games all year.

Ryan Giggs has been probably the premierships greatest player over the years (in terms of consistant contribution) but it was almost sad watching him today. His light is diminishing and he was shite today.

United are pathetic. For a club with ambitions like they like to claim, you simply can not have 2 midgets as strikers and absolutely no back-up.The statistics speak for themselves, Rooney missed like 5 games this season, United lost them all.Saha is constantly injured, so I'm always gonna feel sorry for some stupid united fan that keeps on saying "we don't need any strikers".Yes you do, but you're not getting Berbatov, you arrogant pricks.

BC is absolutely right. It was so upsetting watching Giggs - and even Scholes - now.

Fergie is clearly in denial though. On 60 minutes when Carrick and Hargreaves came on it had to be for the veterans, but instead he chose the younger, more athletic and dangerous pair.

I see Queiroz is blaming the midweek internationals for the players being fatigued. That would be slightly more convincing if United hadn't jetted off to Dubai or wherever for an exhibition game they didn't really need.

I said this in a thread about Lennon and said that Lennon would get in Utd's team ahead of Giggs and Nani as the wide player. People seem to think I'd lost the plot but I think it's clear to see that Giggs is pretty much a spent force who is capable of turning in the odd top notch performance but he is now consistently off the pace.

However as 1 candle burns away another is introduced to the flame, I think that Anderson is going to be some player.

Anderson will be top notch. He's somewhat wasted in that team for now though because of who else he is playing with. You have to imagine someone big is coming in for them over the Summer, big as in size and money, to play up front.
