Cant see United being interested in LVG, they'd be going for the Klopp's, Simeone's and the Conte's of this World.hope levy has already got LVG signed up, united will be straight in after bayern rape them

We won't sack him, we will just change his job title, I don't believe he ever got a new contract deal, just a title change

Yeh, the United fans I've spoken too pretty much say the same thing, most of them think of LVG as a flop at the 'Big' Clubs and don't want him. If you went down Uniteds list of targets I guess at some point LVG would be on it but I bet there's quite a few above him. I think as Spurs fans we're guilty of building LVG up in our minds a bit over the top, and thinking every big Club will want him all of a sudden. In reality LVG's stock has gone down since his Barca days, which is why he's a viable target for us.having spoken to several United supporters (at work, unfortunately unavoidable) they are all convinced that if Moyes is sacked that the United board will make a major push at Klopp.
They don't sound overly confident that they will get him, but they are convinced that the list starts with him and then is filled with a hodge podge of other managers.
Hasn't he won a trophy at every club he has ever been at? I certainly wouldn't complain if he took over.Yeh, the United fans I've spoken too pretty much say the same thing, most of them think of LVG as a flop at the 'Big' Clubs and don't want him. For us yeah, I was just saying I don't think United would be interested.Hasn't he won a trophy at every club he has ever been at? I certainly wouldn't complain if he took over.
Defo the best man who is likely to be interested in taking the job
I think he would be perfect for Utd. He could get them back to winning ways. For us yeah, I was just saying I don't think United would be interested.

That's the problem of managing the big clubs in those leagues. The titles won with Barca and Bayern in those years were pretty much a minimum.Managerial honours

Tim has stated that he doesn't want to work under anyone, so he won't stay on as an apprentice. If he'll get back his old job, well, he'll technically be "above" van Gaall....and I wonder if van Gaal will accept that. Not saying he won't but I doubt it; which would mean that the job description of being Technical director has to be changed, something I doubt Tim would accept.
Besides, I have not heard of any manager getting the sack in a top club being "promoted" to a "higher" job in the club that sacked him (but there may be such instances I don't know of).

Which means the most impressive trophies remain with Ajax, but they were a while ago now.
I'm certainly not against LVG, but we need to be careful about bugging up any manager.
My first choice in all honesty would have been Klopp, but I will not be disappointed if LVG signs.
