Tottenham's search for a new manager goes on and now Massimiliano Allegri is being tipped to replace Jose Mourinho as he still searches for his next job after leaving Juventus.

I’ll cry when he fails to land the 10th consecutive premier league title for us.

Can't stand the guy, dunno why. Not saying he is a bad manager though.

All else aside hiring Allegri would likely make us Dybala’s preferred destination this summer. They have a great relationship.

We already know Levy’s a Dybala fan given how close we were to signing him in 2019. It does add up..

Let operation sign Dybala at all costs commence

Lmao hasn't even been appointed and written off already.
Guess what, he won't get appointed.
True enough - I think that Johnny just meant that people don't need to get too concerned as the media are just throwing darts at a board anyway. In fairness, I assume that you were just commenting that you aren't a big fan.

Great manager but i fear this is wrong time. Probably should have been the guy after Poch instead of Jose

I find it a bit odd that Allegri hasn't been appointed to a top tier club yet. He's been out since 2019 and many managers has come and gone since.

Big name or high profile managers have not performed well at Spurs, the reasons for this i dont know.

Allegri has won trophies at clubs he is expected to win at, we need a manager that has histroy of over achieving whilst playing attacking football. Preferably a manager that will be grateful of getting the gig at a top club meaning they will handle levy's way of working. I think thats why Jol, harry and poch have worked and the big names with big reputations havent.

Can see Levy being excited about a 'no compensation' appointment but I hope it doesn't sway him too much. There are better options out there for us IMO. I'd have thought we'd have made our move by now though if he was a serious target.
