A bit of fun..
Levy calls you up in a desperate state, admitting he has got everything wrong on the football side. He has seen your posts on SC and is so impressed that he offers you the job of DoF. Although you're immediate thought is to put the phone down, you agree to take on the role and accept the measly pay package offered to you. DL kindly threw in a few nights free accommodation for you at the lodge, but breakfast and dinner was not included so you will have to pay for that yourself.
So lots to sort out, Levy has given you an agenda that requires immediate attention:
Develop a philosophy for the club - This will influence the type of players and coach we have both now and in the future
Hire a head coach - Should obviously match the above philosophy
Player outs - Levy has told you the following "Kane and Lloris want out, and Son isn't signing a new contract". He has also told you that you can decide whichever other players need to go if bids are received for the values that you set. So you need to assess the squad and decide who fits your philosophy and who can be moved on
Player ins - Money is tight following covid, Levy has told you that we can only spend from funds raised. So targets need to be realistic, also need to keep the HG situation in mind.
So, what does our squad look like come the start of the season? How much do you accept for Kane? Do you sell for a lot less if he's going abroad or just accept the highest bidder whoever it is? Which players (if any) on the books do you want to build the team around? How do you go about developing a philosophy? Is it style of play? Formation used from 1st team down to the youth teams? Which players do you transfer list immediately and who are you willing to listen to offers for?
