Doesn't it take three weeks to relay the pitch and get it football ready after an athletics meet? If that is the case they will be away first game.Fast forward to 20/21 July when the Athletics meeting will be held there.
Happy Hammers might be better off getting an couple of away games for the start of the new season.

That is very tight. Maybe they can do it in two weeks then, three was just something I thought I'd heard before.Going to be tight 12.30 ko v Man City on 10th August - 19 full days !

They have a friendly pencilled in for the the 3rd so must be confident. LOL
Or the caravan cup?(Probably the 'Tenants Trophy')

What’s the betting they buy the stadium for a quid after leaching millions out of the taxpayer and everyone has had enough....surely that’s their endgame with the constant bickering with the landlordsI doubt the stadium will last 99 years infact I doubt it will last 30 years. Pretty sure it was built as a temporary stadium that could be taken apart. Utterly ridiculous that with the football conversion it pretty much cost same as ours.

I like to think that if there was ever the possibility that West Ham could buy the stadium for a quid that Daniel Levy would swoop in with a last minute offer of £2.50.

and then donate it to Orient
God no. That would be awful. I couldn't think of anything worse than playing in that stadium in front of six thousand people. Just make West Ham stay there and up the rent.
cast iron guarantees?I’m pretty certain Mr Levy and Mr Barry Hearn ensured this is virtually impossible. Just as removal of the athletics track is also virtually impossible.
As part of the deal, Levy got cast iron guarantees neither could happen as these were basically the only two reasons they didn’t award Tottenham the stadium ( anyone with half a brain cell could see Levy’s proposal was the most sensible and easily the most lucrative, who’d have thought they’d end up suggesting something similar at some point! )
Imagine the transfer funds after Levy got done suing everyone involved if it were to happen!
