It starts sinking in on post 5825 and the tears start from there 😂

Basically it boils down to this:

"Oh Bayer is having a Leicester City season. They'll crash next season and Xabi will struggle."

"Xabi is going to regret it as Real hires someone else and we get Amorim and continue as usual"

blah blah blah

"Displaying a positive mindset and an easy-going and conciliatory personality and discourse, Amorim reaffirmed for several times that he does not talk about referees."

Not sure he'd fit in.

Bet anyone £10 he's in a protest T-Shirt by the end of next season.

I can see the first point being true to an extent. Not that Leverkusen crash and struggle next season but Bayern don't and this year's title becomes a one off.

Leverkusen with Champions League and higher expectations, Bayern course correct with a better coach and probably spending on the league's best players again - I can see it reverting to the usual pattern. Not that it takes anything away from Alonso or Leverkusen because IF that happens because competing with Bayern is still great for them - and they (and Alonso) will always have this title after breaking an 11 year run of complete dominance. Dortmund should have done it last season.

Second point, no idea. I thought Ancelotti was staying with Madrid anyway, and Amorim could be a sensation or a disaster - who knows.

I think he will be.

No changing to a three at the back, supports them, great at managing the support. The only thing putting them off will be us demanding a fortune
I don't think it'll be the money. I think Ange is too much of a gentleman to let our supporters down.
But I am an old man and still believe in people being sincere.

I’m not at all worried about Liverpool approaching Ange. I’m quite sure they will want a young coach, whereas Ange is 2 years older than Klopp.

Disagree. Taking over from Klopp is a bit of a poisoned chalice and high risk for any manager. No way would he leave after 1 season - he would feel that all the work he has put in so far would be wasted.

Anyway Amorim will be their man I think.
I think this is exactly why Alonso is staying at Leverkusen. It’s going to be tough following Klopp, Salah isn’t getting any younger and neither is Van Dijk. Think they’ll have a period of transition now, and the pressure will be on the manager, much like Emery following Wenger or Moyes following Fergie.

Being in Europe, even the CL, doesn't have the same effect in other leagues as it does the PL, as the other leagues don't have the same intensity/physical demands and the quality across the league isn't the same.

Just debating with a bin dipper mate who reckons Kvaratskhelia, Rodrygo and Leao wouldn't get in the Liverpool starting forwards ahead of Nunez or Diaz 🤣🤣the delusion in these idiots is palpable

If they get amorim and salah goes to Saudi they won't be anywhere near where they are now in the league

So many other fans and media people said we'd be f**ked when Kane left.
Sadly I recon Salah leaving will just see others step up~ just like what's happened with us.
I'm just looking forwards to our next season and I'll take them being weaker in any way if it happens
