With Pool fans you just can’t tell. I mentioned earlier in the thread I was in the bank and the cashier asked me if I liked football then told me Klopp has announced he’s leaving and she wants to cry.

Wouldn’t surprise me if fans in Liverpool are being even more dramatic.
My landlord got the bus over to Anfield on the day the news broke. He wanted to mourn with other fans. I'm not making this up

Yeah it’s hard to tell these days. I just refuse to believe this shit. Not only would no man ever do this at their kids school but then to go on social media and tell everyone about it. Nah, it’s like the “my 11 year old son” guy on here I just don’t buy it, plus there’s bound to be loads of trolls who play off the deluded Liverpool fan thing.

I totally agree that the strength of the source is weak.

But do I believe some Liverpool are responding to this news in such a ridiculous way? Absolutely.

Salah back in first team, on the pitch training the moment the AFCON finishes. Don't think anyone predicted that... 😆

I know it was against us but the comment made me laugh (p.s. I have no issue with them celebrating, take it as a compliment)

Article in the paper today saying they are going to have an open top bus parade for Klopp when he goes. Sounds like a wind up. Couldn’t be that ridiculous , could they.

Seems about right.

He has personified that club for a number of years now - so I can understand the affection they have for him.

I won't bother me - I'll just be happy Klopp is gone, and Liverpool are likely to go through their own rebuilding phase for a few years.

They do have a trophy to parade.. but considering the amount he has won it's not completely shocking is it? Think he must have won everything available with them at one point or another, including the club world cup.

Don’t usually do a parade for a league cup. Although it is harder to win than Europa conference best 7th place team in Europe Trophy

They won it, so they have a right to parade it if they want to. I'd love to go to a trophy parade if we ever won something, so I won't begrudge other clubs doing them even for "mickey mouse" cups like the league cup.

Klopp has won more in his time with Liverpool than we have in decades, so if they want to do a parade I don't see an issue. It's up in Liverpool, so doesn't bother me one bit.

Not ridiculous at all IMO, even if the League Cup is the only pot they parade with. He's earned it.

So you weren't around back in the 60's, I seem to remember being on the steps of the Royal watching the bus go by.
Dave Clark 5 had been on the stage in the Royal sometime around then.
Got a photo on the wall of the bus with the cups and a shield covered in flowers and SHINING in letters. Peter Baker holding FA cup, Ron Henry another and Cliff Jones holding a third that appears to be made up.. Think it's Les Allen there and I think the back of Bobby Smith's head chatting to someone behind them.
