Xabi Alonso also front runner for Barca job, wonder if that came as bad timing for pool with xavi leaving? Or maybe as Alonso played for Real, he wouldn't be interested in Barca, but I hope he goes there instead.

Is Jamie Carragher being a grade A hypocrite when moaning about Odegaard's celebrations saying he should get straight down the tunnel ? If Odegaard did that against any club other than Liverpool would he be making the same comments about saying get back down the tunnel ?

When Klopp frequently goes completely over the top with in your face celebrations and encroaches onto the pitch or attempts to run halfway down the touchline or when he literally milks it for all its worth in front of the Kop after a Liverpool win does Carragher ever pipe up and say Klopp you've only won a game now stop going over the top get down the tunnel ? No he doesn't! He joins in with over the top praise for Liverpool and Klopp, and before he makes comments on other people celebrating he needs to take a good look at himself when going completely over the top with bias when Salah scored in the last minute following Toby and Hugo's brief mix up to steal in and win it at the death at Anfield. Did he check himself and say no I should show more restraint ? No he didn't.

He was being a grade A sore loser and thinks its OK to do only if it's bloody Liverpool doing it, and as far as he is concerned under no circumstances should anyone be able to celebrate in this way if they beat Liverpool.

For me all celebration police bullshit can just get in the bin. Rivalries be damned.

VAR has taken away so much of the potential to properly celebrate during a match and it's no surprise that players, staff and fans channel that unspent energy towards giving it a proper bash after the final whistle in a big win.

It's sad that pundits now also start playing up to the Twitter police.

This is surely bullshit.
With Pool fans you just can’t tell. I mentioned earlier in the thread I was in the bank and the cashier asked me if I liked football then told me Klopp has announced he’s leaving and she wants to cry.

Wouldn’t surprise me if fans in Liverpool are being even more dramatic.
