Bookies taken to the cleaners tonight. Can see tons of scousers putting whatever they earned for that nicked bike on a pool win while singing its their year

They were class tonight. Pleasure to watch them smash Barca all over the park. Roll on tomorrow!

If Brighton take points off City on the last day and hand the title to Liverpool I think the government should step in and send the army in or something. Air strike possibly.

Not too bothered. Barca have always felt like Spanish Liverpool to me, with their "Aren't we so much more special and beloved than everyone else" attitude. The only difference is Barca have won more recently; otherwise, their fan base would be the exact same, minus the tracksuits I guess.

If that was Chelsea/Arsenal I'd give them no credit at all, but a performance like that should be admired, even if it was from Liverpool.

One of the great European comebacks of all time.

It's unpopular opinion but you cannot deny credit to this Liverpool team. Regardless of their fans, they have played some brilliant football this season and without Salah and Firminho (sp) that is a fantastic result tonight. Fully deserved. And again, hate admitting it, but they are a well run football club and not owned by a sheikh or sugar daddy, just a shame the media fckin love them!

As an English man who loves football I have to applaud this result.
I will get up at 3am to watch us play and I hope to see the same commitment from us as Liverpool had in this game.
Disagree away but this is one reason I LOVE this game is DREAMS DO COME TRUE. They had a plan and it worked !
Now my lovely THFC make mine come true in Amsterdam and get through to the final and beat these b 'stards

What you talking about. They spent a ton of money. John henry might not be mansour, but he ain't poor, and he ain't afraid to spend.
This is an unpopular oppinion, but after today i want to be taken over by a rich fuck who just wants to see us succeed, no matter the cost.
Fuck the well run club schtick. I couldn't give a Fuck anymore. Fuck Liverpool. God i feel sick.

Joe Lewis' estimated worth is double of John Henry, at $5 billion. Discuss.

As much as I hate them, to do that without Salah and firmino is just an incredible result, well played.

The football world will NEVER hear the end of this, especially if they go and win it.

Which is better, having the richer owner, who doesn't spend serious money on the playing staff, or the poorer one who does?
One wants his club to win, one wants to make money.

Exactly - ask Arsenal fans what they think of Kroenke, who has a net worth of $9bn

Yes fair enough. I do not disagree. We are already owned by a rich fuck, but someone that doesn't want to spend substantial cash at the club.
