O Hara called up to U21 as well, and THUDD.

Lennon should be in the senior squad surely.

yeah i thought this was a crazy decision. step backwards for Lennon in some respects as a year or so ago he was on the verge of the starting XI. Guarantee Fab picks Owen in the squad, and in current form he should be absolutely nowhere near it

Cue slightly sore hamstring and no thank you very much.

I will be amazed if lennon turns up with that squad.

Poor decision, not too sure i could name many right sided players who have been better than him this year except perhaps Ashley Young, but he's been playing on the left.

Capello was at our 5-1 drubbing of Arsenal. How could he not see Lennon's worth?

Give the guy a break. I'd rather Lennon play for the U21 than not at all as was the case with McClaren (when he wasn't injured). Lennon deserves to play for England but it'll help him get some experience and will remind people of why he should be in the first team.

Let's not forget O'hara's call up, that's the big news. For a player I never thought I'd see in a premiership team, let alone Spurs, he's had an amazing few months

Lennon's been playing brilliantly for us of late. I'd have been shocked if he didn't start for England, but to only be in the U21 squad is just taking the piss.

Lennon will gain nothing by playing for the under 21's, the standard is akin to Championship football.

Sort of a demotion for Lennon, we'll probably see Walcott promoted to the first team now.

Arse influence if u ask me.

Good news. The fixtures are completely meaningless friendlies whose only purpose is to make some cash for the corporates and those fat numpties at the FA.

Let O'Hara play for the U21s - good experience for him. And all our other players can withdraw with knocks. The last thing I want is for Woodgate and King to get crocked trying to impress Senor Capello.

I don't think it's a bad decision. He probably wouldn't start for the seniors and would be better off getting some international experience with the U21's.
