Not sure where best to put things like this but many legendary players from previous generations are reaching that age now so thought this could be a place to share tribute of greats who are passing on

Possibly one of the greatest of all time. Certainly one of the greatest centre halves.most definitely the best sweeper of all time. Condolences to his family and that of his Bayern family.

Andreas Brehme, scorer of the winning penalty of the last World Cup final I'm too young to remember, dies at 63.
Blimey, I was 11, and I remember that penalty well. Worst WC final I can remember, and I include the 0-0 aet in 94. Argentina were disgraceful, Germany just dived everywhere. If not for Paul Parker's foot we'd have won that WC.1

RIP.
