To me, the most damning example of the lack of ambition by ownership. He should have been sold and upgraded 3-4 years ago.
Did we have any news that Poch or Mourinho wanted to sell him? Can't remember any.

This doesn't get better quickly from here, regardless of who gets the job. We will be stuck with the vast majority of these players until their contracts expire.

The truly depressing thing is everyone saying Levy has to get the managerial appointment right and we need a rebuild which are 100% correct.

But do we really have any faith that he can deliver on one of those let alone both. The slow decline of this team has been on full view for a long time now and nothing has been done.

The rot has set in and there is only one cure for that and I don’t believe Levy has the acumen or balls or desire to blow it all up and start over.

tbf youre not wrong. Lamelas "PaSsIoN" has seen him take this club for a ride. Lack of end product, endless injuries and one of the highest wages. Its a joke.

The only change I would have made when he made the subs was Ndombele for Lo Celso to attempt to try something different in getting the ball forward from defence to strikers. Our best options by far were on the pitch up front in terms of productivity.

We were losing and the knee jerk reaction is oh make changes and substitutions. It's not always the best option when you're replacing better players with vastly inferior players with a significantly worse output in terms of goals and assists per minute.

It is what it is, there were too many poor touches, passes and clearances today that hindered us. We should not be turning to Lamela when we're needing a goal though. Honestly I wouldn't lose any sleep over replacing both Lamela and Lucas in the squad with Clarke and Scarlett if all we're basing their qualities on how much they run around.

I enjoyed the Sheff Utd game. But this was a true reflection of where this team is.

Today, not enough energy. No spirit. No cohesion. No communication. No helping each other. And at times not even able to perform basic fucking defensive fundamentals. Leeds 2nd a prime example of all of these.

There was never a chance of top 4, when the players look like they couldn't give a shit.

How absolutely ridiculous is VAR? Imagine letting random rulings and lines decide game after game. Almost hard to take football serious the way VAR is used.

I have no idea sure blame the managers too who’ve kept him around I don’t care. He’s way over stayed his welcome.

Because some time i think RM picks the wrong players... Choosing names instead of thinking through the strategy and what's best for the team.
A supposedly attacking front foot selection, yet outplayed by Leeds.

The line up had echoes of the Arsenal game. Playing Bale on the right when he will be required to track back was a mistake. Leeds exposed it. Playing Son-Kane-Dele-Bale looks great on paper, like Barca's front line last year, but will concede at the back because the midfield and full backs are vulnerable. Showed again today.

Mourinho did not improve the team's defending and the malaise in attack will take more than a 4-0 win over Sheff United to get rid of. We have no style of play and that for me is more depressing that the result.

Yeah then the same people would blame the board for selling the players the managers didn't want to lose. It's probably called "backing managers" ?

Mason watches the same game as us and still doesn’t do anything about Aurier getting isolated. I think he’s scared of our players

He’s basically a yes man stop gap for the season. The club didn’t realistically think we had a chance of making top 4 so just brought in the tea boy.

Mason has defo done some homework, he has memorised the ' 101 of football cliched quotes' for post match interviews

I feel like its very scripted unfortunately. Higher up are telling him what to say. True Spurs supporter would be laying into them, demanding changes for next summer.

Very naive to try and beat Leeds at their own game, especially after being coached by mourinho for the last two years. Our passing was crap largely because of their press. Keep men back ready for when you inevitably lose the ball and be prepared to hit them on the break for when they push too many men forward, as we did in the home match which turned out to be an easy win. We were always unlikely to win with that set up today.
