Twenty five million and Lamela? This guy Gil better be something special! I will be sad to see Lamela leave, we all know abut his injury record, but he gave his all for the badge IMO.

Does that seem a lot then? How much are you supposing Lamela is worth? 5-7 ish?

Will miss Lamela but wish him best of luck in Spain. He'll enjoy it over there for sure.

Great talent, fantastic if we do sign him.

Injuries robbed us of the player Lamela could have become, but 100% effort and a nutmeg at every opportunity. I’ll miss Coco.

Good luck to Coco but like a fair few others it’s definitely time to more him on. For his football ability the United 3-0 in 15/16 stands out.

Will be sad to see him go. Always gave everything injuries and personal problems held him back. Never moaned and professional to the end.

It's the right move for everyone concerned. One thing you could never doubt with Lamela was his attitude and effort. He may not have been the most gifted of footballers but you could ask no more of him when he played. I am quite sure that when he leaves us it will be with a warm smile and excitement at the new challenge that lies ahead. I wish him well, thank him for his time at the club and look forward very much to the new arrival that this departure has helped facilitate.

buona fortuna Erik (y)

Gil seems an old fashioned winger , shows Spurs will play with more width without Kane and Son being marked so tightly. Well Kane or whoever

Reminds me a lot of David Ginola. Oh I so wish he’s signed and can replicate Davids’ dazzling dribbles and crosses.

Won't pretend I've heard of him or ever seen him play. One for the future who turns out good we hope.
Miss Lamela tho, rather they took bergwjin off our hands if it happens. Which is a big if with this club anyway
