Just wondering if anyone else thinks he has had some sort of breakdown or is ill?

He seems to sound a bit mental in his interviews lately, kind of over the top happy even though Newcastle are shit. I honestly think he has had a stroke, or a breakdown or something.

If he hasn't had a breakdown, I think he soon will. His honeymoon period is rapidly coming to an end, and them geordies'll start baying for blood again. I hope they get relegated.

There's short odds on him still being in position at the end of the season. I'd bet if it were Dougal's dosh, but not mine!!

Yeah. I honestly think he is mad as pants now, that may have been the start of it, but he is mentally ill now (I think).

Keegan is destined to fail again!
What is it with those Geordies? They think that they have a god-given right to be successful. They harp on about how the manager has to be a geordie or understand the 'geordie way' of thinking cos they're so different...its hilarious!

Mike Ashley listened to these fans and took on 'the great King Kev' who walks away when the chips are down as seen with Newcastle, Man City and England. He will have cracked up/broken down or been laid off by September and the fans will be crying out for Bobby Robson to come back.

Now look at your post this way and pretend you're not a Spurs fan ....

Cheers stoof, but do you think he is ill? Since that was what the thread was about.

Slag.

I have noticed that. If you look between his Newcastle through to England then to the end of his City days, he has definitely got a little crazier as he's got greyer.

On the sidelines yesterday he was oh-so-dramatic and it was just, like, a throw-in. Mentalist.

Not sure if it's a stroke type thing though, not just yet. But I think he's heading the right way - impossible club to manage when they all want Shearer (wrongly).

Was just thinking the same thing...

But yes, KK is a complete basket case. You'd have to be to take the Newcastle job.

Here are some classics;

1 The ref was vertically 15 yards away

2
Goalkeepers aren't born today until they're in their late twenties or thirties

3
He can't speak Turkey, but you can tell he's delighted.

4
I'm not disappointed - just disappointed.

5
Chile have three options - they could win or they could lose.

6
That would have been a goal if it wasn't saved.

7
I came to Nantes two years ago and it's much the same today, except that it's totally different.

8
The substitute is about to come on - he's a player who was left out of the starting line-up today.

9
The 33 or 34-year-olds will be 36 or 37 by the time the next World Cup comes around, if they're not careful.

10
England have the best fans in the world and Scotland's fans are second-to-none

11
Argentina won't be at Euro 2000 because they're from South America.

12
The Germans only have one player under 22, and he's 23

13
We are three games without defeat is another way of looking at it. But if we are honest we have taken two points from nine

14
Shaun Wright-Phillips has got a big heart. It's as big as him, which isn't very big, but it's bigger

15
You get bunches of players like you do bananas, though that is a bad comparison.

Oh yes they can.

"They compare Steve McManaman to Steve Heighway and he's nothing like him, but I can see why - it's because he's a bit different"

"I know what is around the corner - I just don't know where the corner is. But the onus is on us to perform and we must control the bandwagon"

"In some ways, cramp is worse than having a broken leg"

"You can't do better than go away from home and get a draw"

"He's using his strength and that is his strength, his strength"
