Looks good, Physically Strong, Young and within our price range. Have a good upside. I think this is a realistic acquisition that could bear fruit.

I hope we look at Zyro, Kownaki and Duda as well. They are all supposed to be big talents. Zyro is a very good powerful inside forward/winger.

Seriously though, remember Arsenal being after him a while back, as well as us, so he's not entirely out of the blue. Was a defensive midfielder then. Plenty of stories of players changing position. Think Bentaleb was a left winger at one point, Tom Carroll a striker, and a number of midfielders start further up the field and move back these days. Always good to have a well-rounded player in a central position.

Not doubting his talent, but surprised we've signed another midfielder who is relatively inexperienced.
We signed Dele Alli (a goalscoring CM) in January, Alex Pritchard looks set to play as an alternative to Erkissen in the AM/LW position (freeekick expert, scores goals and gets assists), plus Tom Carroll can cover CM/CAM as well as Joshua Onomah (CM/CAM) coming through and Harry Winks too.
Are we giving up on the idea of getting an experienced CM like Schneiderlein and developing our own with Mason/Bentaleb being the experienced players ?

Maybe Carroll will be moved on? And I wouldn't be surprised to see Winks/Onomah going out on loan so their progress isn't blocked by lack of action with us.
