It's such a dumb strategy. We should be spending most our money on any players under 29-30 who the manager wants and those 24 and under who have massive potential. Sign top players and fill squad gaps in backup positions with academy talent and free transfers/ expiring contracts.That's the problem, we are prepared to buy the Sanchez and Rodon types but we won't splash on excellence. We'll rather buy two 40m players than one 80m one
