Is today the day?

Thinking that rather than fill the ITK thread with discussion on this we could just have a thread to speculate about what will happen ... or not... in the course of the day.

Personally I have a hard time thinking that anything will happen today. I also don't see how it would make sense to go public on the same day as the Euro's final. Why not wait a day or two and then unload all the positive news over a number of days to keep us on top of the news cycle.

Anyway, since the ITK has gone quit I am hoping that it is the quiet before the storm and I even though I doubt it will happen today, I will be logged on here waiting for the frenzy.

What say you? An explosion of announcements today or not?

I am having a hard time believing this 'blow our socks off' idea. It seems to me that most major news nowadays hits the media stream long before any official announcements and I haven't heard anything substantial on these things... could the club really keep something socks off blowing news so secret?

Levy is going to make a huge anouncment that will shock the world of Football.

He is going down the rout of our Sponsors and will be unvaling his new inovation of having multiple managers.
Levy thinks this will increase our chances as each manager will be able to concentrate only on their games.

This is why Pep, Blanc and VAVB are all nailed on to be Spurs next manager.
We will have one for the League, Europe and the Domestic Cups.

think you will find we have already changed the Puma Logo to the UA one at the bottom of the home page on the OS.
Also on the splash page we have taken out the Puma logo on Parker's shirt....

I know exactly what's going to happen today. I shall be sat on my backside playing FM all day with a small break for a Sunday roast. Around 9pm I shall retire to watch a film and open a nice bottle of red. Job done.

If it is AVB and he has signed, then I can imagine the club announcing it during the Euro final tonight. With the media hostile, perhaps the club would want to keep the media attention as muted as possible. With the final happening, that will take the top spot in any sports report and will be the sport headline tomorrow.

I'm not saying this will happen, just that I can imagine it occurring. However, it does depend on the new manager being Villas-Boas and him having definitely signed.
