Just watched Itv 4's Ian Wright nothing to something....

This is coming from someone who hates the scum almost as much as i love Spurs....

This programmed moved me, IW opened up like never before, i have so much respect for him now, really honest moving programme about his life.

Respect to him.....football apart.

Out of interest, what don't you like about him as a person? I've always thought he came across as quite a genuine bloke and although clearly pro Arsenal, has always seemed quite fair even regarding Spurs.

To be fair Wright and Seaman were Okish gooners and Wright's been very critical of the gooners over the years. He's gone a bit tittish this year as they improved (well, earlier in the season anyway) and bought Avatar eyes but overall I think he's OK. He also seemed to love Defoe.

Can't stand Davina McCall...She'd have loved being in the middle of that Arsenal back four with all those wankers.

Love how respectful he is, the way he instantly takes off his hat when he sees his old teacher. I have always liked the fact he still refers to Hoddle as 'Gaffer' too.

Ian Wright has always struck me as a decent bloke, just keep him off the football chat. He loves Arsenal but he is has a bit about him and can take it as well as give it. The likes of Charlie Nicholas and co are just bitter ( not sure why! ) old pricks who have nothing about them at all. I'd love to finish above them just to see his reaction

I do like Ian Wright, I think he's quite genuine. As much as he's clearly not a Spurs fan, he does actually give us a bit of respect at times. Can't ask more than that from a rival.

My wife said he was originally a Millwall fan, not sure how true that is though.
