Just thought I'd share this snippet. Louis van Gaal confirms in interview that he supported Spurs as a kid and Jimmy Greaves was his hero: "Van Gaal said: “I came very close. Very close. Yes. As a little boy I was a fan of Tottenham Hotspur with the team of Jimmy Greaves when he was the champion. Jimmy Greaves was my idol. So I was very close.”

We now have The Poch installed and I guess most of us are reasonably happy about that. But how do folk feel about this - if it was you, hand-on-heart, would you follow your emotional inclination or your wallet? Do you think this makes it worse that he chose United, or doesn't it make any difference?
