I can't believe this shite. I didn't see the post-match comments from Grant, but even an absolute imbecile could see that Spurs were the better side for most of the match. But then again, what do you expect from some pillock who thinks that the "39th game" is a good idea?

there can not be any argument, we were by far the better side for the whole 120 min. Sour grapes as usual by a top 4 team when there opponents don't role over. We deserved our day, there can be no argument.

Chelsea are not only bad losers, but bad winners as well. Homer, you lost, fair and square, and you lost to the better team and an incomparably smarter coach. Try and accept that with a bit of grace—even Maureen could manage that sometimes.

was he not in star wars

i'm sure he wasnt complaining about their diving, jenas being elbowed and the fact there was 3 mins added on in the second half of extra time

also why to they even pretend they play 4,3,3 when its quite obvious its a 4,5,1 they are so dull

i'm not so sure what makes me most happy that we won, or that chelsea lost ;)

Does Grant strike anyone as graceful--with a mug like that?

He had a terrible day, got it all wrong with that 4-4-3 or whatever it was and just didn't manage his side well. This was an important match for him too, it was his opportunity to justify his role as manager with a trophy heading into potential elimination in the CL and/or the FA Cup--he could point to this trophy and maybe save his neck when the inevitable European elimination for Chavski comes about. I think that explains the comments, trying to polish a turd...

That and the fact that he went to the Wenger School for Delusional Post-Match Commentary...

amen.

Chelsea is drooling over the Anelka/Drogba combo, and if today was any indication, it wont work. What a moron putting that out there in the cup final - try it against Wigan first.

He did us a favor by leaving Joe Cole out until extra time, too.

bitter - must be a gooner at heart - grant was found out today - wendy's tactics were better, the only thing was we should have been 3 up by half time and poor old zoko should have had 2 in the second half - some has to break it to him that he is one hell of an athlete but can't really play football and should be modelling himself on twatelle.

There is one thing though there is no way woody was man of the match - before his mistake cech kept them in it without him they would have been 3 or more down. Yup cech got motm for me.

Wow, that pretty much shows that he has no idea what he is doing when he can't tell that his shit was handed to him royally.

Did they even shoot on goal outside of the free kicks until they were losing?

He needs go drink some more blood.

No, I don't recall a single effort from open play until well into the second half.

So much for the promise of more attractive football under Homer.

You know it mate. All along I feared Joe Cole as the man to cause us problems in this tie, it was a masterstoke (or not) of Grant to leave him on the bench.
