What is the plan in possession? Nothing has changed at all from Mourinho. Totally off the cuff. No system. No pattern. Nothing. Like they've never met.

Just looking at him on the touchline, he zaps my energy like he is sucking the life from me
Not just me then! I said this about his interviews a while back and his general demeanour, honestly the most dour, boring, uninspiring manager we’ve had for years. Santini and George Graham mabye worse but really he’s my least favourite for a good 20 years.

Awfuk awful hire in so many ways, just fucking wasting more time with the wrong guy and with a squad which has still very obvious issues and weaknesses.

Not good enough.

Not at all. Have all teams who played in Europe in mid week got points?
I was obviously talking about english clubs and it doesnt matter if they all get points. Fact is most of them got points with not resting anyone. I could see absolutely nothing today in 2nd half (where we were supposed to have more energy) that it was worth throwing away the game in Arnheim.

I insist it would have been better to be more ambitious and get better feelings in the squad by going for games.

Nuno is just avoiding tough decisions as he is too scared. You can see it ingame week in week out.

valverde, fornesca, howe anyone
what if this was levy's plan all along. Bring in Nuno so he can give us a big fucking told ya so when he brings in fornesca and everyone is jumping for joy... Although isn't Fornesca tipped for the newcastle job?

but mate, we’re the awful fans for not giving him time, he’s clearly earned it!!!

on a serious note, if i saw an actual attacking plan, i’d give him all the time in the world. there’s no attacking plan other than long ball to kane and hope he brings it down, or smash it into ndombele’s feet and hope he can dribble the whole midfield. it’s a joke
This is it. I just don’t see any sort of plan.

And Nuno and Paratici should have insisted Kane was sold

I've probably lost a bit of enthusiasm since the CL final but I always hold out hope that there is s long term plan.
It's just blind hope though. It should have been obvious there's no plan when we spent a 9 figure sum, the biggest ever investment in our squad, on two technically gifted playmakers in July 2019, and then appointed a manager who wanted to bypass the midfield as much as possible in November. It's a random mismatch of decisions made by men in suits who think they understand football, but don't actually have the first clue.

It's hard to believe we're shit when we hired the coach of the only team more boring to watch than us last season! I mean wtf?? Nuno needs shown the door ASAP!

This squad didn't need another defensive manager, they needed a coach with a plan, a coach who improves players.

Paratici has a lot to answer for, I blame him and Nuno more than the squad.
TBF Mourinho had a plan, whether you liked it or not, he had a plan on the pitch

I’ve got an idea. Let’s play the ball about really, really slowly with no friggin purpose., that’ll scare the piss out of them and be massively entertaining to watch

Nuno out, nothing against him but he was 10th choice, the players know it, we know it, everyone knows it. It doesnt have the feeling at all of a new era and we all know he isn’t going to last the season. Lets just pull the trigger now and get someone in who fits the bill.

I don’t know if it’s Nunos fault but we are the most boring side in the league to watch - there is just nothing to get excited about…

Has there been any indicated from itk that his job is on the line? I can’t bare to go through this season with him there. So uninspiring. May as well give it to mason.
