It's worse than that!A good club being asset stripped and dragged down the divisions so an absentee owner can make a quick buck. Somehow.
Good on them for protesting.
Shocking.It's worse than that!
As you know my son plays for them, lots of the players are local lads and because of the ownership/financial issues, they can only sign free players or promote those from the youth set up, players are gutted with what's going on with the club too, their friends, staff all made redundant before Xmas, players canteen not been open since Xmas, players not fed, staff not paid...
I'd be on the pitch if I was there too!

It boils down to it now being run down, so trying to strip it of assets rather than pay any debt back.Shocking.
Hate hearing these stories.
Happened to my hometown club Scarborough. Owners who were dipping into their pockets and lying about their wealth.
Later went to jail for fraud.
They have to do a better job protecting clubs.
The academy there was up there with the best outside of the premier league until recently, but ever since John Madejski sold the club to dodgy Russian back in 2012, things there have just gone from bad to worse. It boils down to it now being run down, so trying to strip it of assets rather than pay any debt back.
It's such a shame as the coaching and academy set up was fantastic and they developed lots of players too
