We were row one by the pitch. In extra time JJ took a throw in and he wasn't even blowing. Then he sprinted off after someone, couldn't believe what a good athlete he is.

Theyare in top shape, and Ramos reckons they still have some more weight to lose!

Not only did they have physical conditioning, but also concentration. Only the error from Ledders, when he misjudged the ball in about 118th minute and Cole got a shot away, showed any slip of focus, and considering he had been out for the last six games thats mightly impressive

It wasen't just the fitness that impressed me, it was the physcological conditioning that has happend since Ramos came in. Those guys come out for the cup final like they we're favorites and feared nobody. Sorry but Tottenham of old/previous would have perhaps bottled it and been nervous in the opening 10 mins. The positive belief he has installed is amazing. Add to that the unbelievable fitness and well...it really seems to be paying off !!

considering we had 48 hours less recovery time than chelski i thought we were considerably the more fitter side in extra time.

a point that hasn't been stressed much tbh.

there were fitness issues earlier in the season (anyone who was at the blackburn home game may concur) but i think these worries have disappeared.
