Am i the only person who thinks this could be our transfer buisness done apart from maybe a late bid for Orban Gift.
I feel we will have the inevitable unable to trim our squad down excuses again.

yes.
There are still 2 weeks to go. Let the big spenders do their business and the rest of the clubs will step in to look at what’s left.

Who knows - to be fair, people might be tempted to think the worst and hope for the best. Might as well wait and see.

I can’t see that being the case after Kane left. No way we are in transfer profit after Kane leaves.

Hope your right but i seriously can't see Levy caring. Think we will be very disappointed in a few weeks
Time will tell though.

Let’s see. There would be riots if we lose our talisman for over 100m and sign no forwards.
I honestly think if we don't our fans are so softened by Levy antics now it will die off a few days after the end of transfer window.
Mr Levy will lie low for a vouple weeks after then be back with big cheesy grin and 100m richer.

It would be nice to at least see the squad trimmed down a bit.
True the squad needs trimmed down but i doubt that will happen either under Levy. He only trims the squad with big players like Kane, Bale, Modric, Carrick, Sheringham, Berbatov , Eriksen etc

I think there’s no way we don’t get a CD also but beyond that I expect standard last minute levy brinkmanship/deal hunting. I hope we don’t and we have clear defined targets that we are moving on now but it’s the same every window and I’m not convinced it will change. The fact that beyond Orban, and maybe even including Orban, everything is on hold until we sell sort of means everything will happen last minute anyway.

Last minute only players that clubs want to shift will be available. We want to get Fati, Kudu or Felix say then great but anyone rated by their club will not be getting sold near the end of a window because the selling club will struggle to find a replacement. Chiesa say will not be leaving on the last day of the window.

Ironically, up until a few seasons ago, Levy could offload unwanted players to the likes of Hull and Stoke. Now it's way tougher. If the Saudis aren't interested in Ndombele for instance, then there's no other way besides cancelling his contract.

Yep so true, i find it strange that the Saudi's are after so many players other than ours.

Yep, Ange has said fairly openly that the priority is trimming the squad now, I don't think we'll be signing anyone until we've shifted a few players, which won't be until the end of the window. I reckon we'll line up Orban and pull the trigger once we've got rid of 2 or 3, and that'll be our lot. Hope I'm wrong!
