also who were the spammers singing 'sign on sign on with a pen in your hand' to?

To the steward behind the goal who was winding them up.

The police sent him away from the area after giving him a seriously long lecture. Might lose his job I suppose?

Mate, I was disappointed. I really wanted that Opus dude.

A&C I cheered when Martin Peters read out the winning number, but alas I didn't have the winning ticket

Now be honest if you'd won it, it's worth £4,500 big ones, how much would you have flogged it for?

the steward was soo funny!

the Spammers were signing. "two pounds, you earn two pounds an hour, you earn two pounds an hour!"

the steward then stuck his hand at them with all his fingers up, suggesting that he earns 5 quid an hour!!! was sooo funny!

I think they had something going on with one of our stewards.
The steward in the end moved to the corner of the park lane
and the shelf.

No booing for Gilberto around us or from anywhere else I am sure.

Did you see the flag before kick off ' We Will Follow The West Ham Over Land and Sea' I think they will have to wait a long time to go over seas. A map of England will do....

That steward gets on me goat, he's always charging up and down park lane annoying us about sitting down, we just ignore him, but I have to admit a part of me did find it funny that the spammers were giving him shit. If he looses his job that'd be great. Feel guilty now.

There was no booing of Gilberto, as others have said. I wouldn't normally post exactly what others have said, but as two people said there was booing I thought I would add to the numbers that were actually there and didn't hear any.

A few of us in the Paxton cheered, I was booing. Fix.

How much would I have sold it for? I'm cheap, so not much........

Can I repeat that I heard no booing of our players.

I heard a few people near me in the Park Lane / East corner booing Gilberto. Isolated idiots I'm sure but even so... it happened.

West Ham fans and players alike were shockingly poor. They deserve each other.

Best song(s): "2-0 (then 3-0, but not time for 4-0!) in your Cup Final, 2-0 in your Cup Final etc etc...

By the way, what if Malbranque mishears all the "Steeeeeeeeeeeeds" as "Booooooooooooooo" and sets out every game to prove the fans wrong who boo him every time he touches the ball?

It's the same chant he got at Fulham so he knows it.

I didn't hear any booing either. Apart from some idiot in the Paxton end when the Opus draw was made .

Thats funny, was in the corner of the shelf and park lane and didn't hear a single piece of booing for our players.

And my lugs are like Gareth Bale's, so would've thought if anyone would have heard it would have been me

i did think i detected the slightest boo oonce or twice, also when his name was read out before kickoff, very very slight though, hardly audible amongst the noise
