My god, the bitching and whining.
For where we are at the moment, that was good effort and a good point. It's been ages since we were so solid defending. Inches away from winning too.

Most of our squad are just thoroughly mediocre. Massive clear out needed - which we've known for a while.

Really poor game I think. Looked gassed in the second half, far too passive (as usual) and a serious lack of real technical quality in any area of the pitch.

International break probably coming at a decent time but my word this team needs work.

Frankly I will only keep Son, Romeo and Lloris, maybe Royal too, from those who played today. The rest can go, one by one.

I mean, it’s already not as boring to watch, and a draw at Goodison is pretty much par these days

But deary me are we lacking fitness and quality.

New manager bounce you would think would at least result in one shot on goal? Too much to ask?

Take the positives, defensively we looked solid and it’s a rare clean sheet.

We all know we need greater creativity, Conte more than anyone, but it looks like he’s drilling the team on being tight at the back with this formation before he focuses on us going forward.

Good performances from Royal, Skipp, Dier and Romero.

Kane, Son and Moura were all woeful. Gil needs to get back fit asap and nail down one of the forward roles.

I think we looked more solid out of possession today than we have in a while. Thursday included. Not great going forward, but the structure is something to build on.

Clean sheet is a big positive for this lot. Been a while since one of those. Burnley? Then August before that?

Massive surgery needed on the squad. Need replacements for Bale and Eriksen in January as the highest priority signings.

Tricky away game against a decent Premier League side, and we were the most likely winner. It wasn't a party, but did ok and got a point with us.
