Does anyone know why we only got 1,800 tickets for this game when the away allocation for about 95% of Premier League fixtures is 3000. Do we have a problem similar to why Man Utd get less than 3,000 at some grounds.

Looks like the club got it bang on from what I can see.

All season tickets holders who applied got tickets. All bronze/lillywhite who applied got tickets and there are still some available for general sale.

I'd suggest the majority of people wanting to go to the game are either season ticket holders or members, so it's unlikely a further 1,200 non members would want tickets.

we may have taken less as it's live on TV. The club are given the option of a higher or lower amount but if they take the higher allocation have to pay for unsold tickets

it may be on tv but this still really surprises me. i've been to hull, preston and doncaster this season all away up north on wednesdays and we've taken around 3000. 'where is everybody?' as the advert used to say

live on sky, people cant be bothered

So, how do you account for the 9000 allocation for the United cup game?
Tuesday night, in Manchester, on Sky.
Sunday afternoon, in Liverpool, on Sky.
Not a lot of difference.

I have to agree with son of.
I ve got a ticket and I go to all the away games up north and this figure surprises me, especially after the following up at Bolton and Preston earlier on this season.
