My reading of the situation is that Roma need to sell to meet FFP, and selling their young up and coming, and high performing, CB Roger Ibanez to Spurs (fairly prevalent in Roma media but less so here) would help deliver that objective. They then replace him with another strong CB for free, thus delivering against FFP asks. Might not play out that way, is just an opinion, but might also explain why N’Dicka’s name is still connected with spurs despite seemingly being close with Roma. Let’s see.
