I disagree, no one can turn a dressing room sour as quickly as Jose can, if the wheels start coming off early and players like Son and Kane start kicking up a fuss, he'll be gone.
He never walks, he wants the pay off.
Jose is going to want more and more in the summer, I don't see Levy giving him what he wants and I can see this ending much sooner than many originally thought.
It’s his fault that we got to this point because the way he’s set up the football side of the club isn’t and hasn’t ever been good enough. Over and over and over it happens. Under redknapp we are 3rd chasing down the leaders and need a CB&Striker and we end up with Saha & Nelson. We sell Berbatov and replace with Fraiser Campbell, Then Fast forward and under Poch it’s rinse and repeat, the club for one reason or another have failed to replace many many top players such as Lloris, Walker, rose, Toby, jan, Wanyama, dembele, Eriksen, Llorente etc etc and now we are a mess. You say it’s not Levy’s fault but he recruits people who recruit the players and he is 1/3 of our transfer committee.because Levy never played in any of the matches we lost
Grealish wasn't for Sale in the summer he was always going to stay at Villa once promoted
anyway you've another 9k+ post to disagree with now as you didn't like those red crosses, and I thought you was a grown up
Ok @Lighty64 so which parts are you disagreeing with?
Do you think Levy has a clue about football and football strategy? Please god tell me you don’t think that?
Do you not also think if Levy has actually just stumped up the cash we’d have got Grealish?
Do you not think going into the season with no back up striker was not negligence? What exactly is there here that you disagree with or are you just neg repping my perfectly valid pots again for no reason?
Oh wow is he in the Guniess book of world records for being the first Chairman to build a fucking stadium ?Yep needs to go. Did unbelievable work on the stadium front no denying that.
But on the football side of things he has let us the fans & previous managers/current one down massively and he won't change. He shouldn't be anywhere near the football side of the club.
That properly made me lol.Oh wow is he in the Guniess book of world records for being the first Chairman to build a fucking stadium ?

If he screws us this summer with the purse strings then yeah he and ENIC whatever have to go. Enough is enough. I appreciate the stadium and financial power but what use is a kitted out garage for a clapped out old banger. We are going backwards alarmingly fast.If Levy does offer Jose a shoestring budget this summer then he needs to fuck off, and I have supported the bloke. If he views UCL as imperative to the business model he needs to back him even if it’s somewhat of a financial gamble and give us a good chance of getting back into the qualification places next season. If he doesn’t, we’ll be out the UCL for a lot longer than 1 year.
via Imgflip Meme GeneratorI still cant get the image of Jose Mourinho and Steve hitchin going to Levy's office presenting him with a list of players
Neither did Christian Gross. So are you saying we should have stuck with him?

Its not about not buying a striker this Jan its about squad management and forward planning and we’ve fucked up big time. Jose is yet another bad decision from Leby on the football side.
”and I thought you was a grown up“ nice English.
Perhaps you might like to answer my well made points rather than reply with sarcastic pointless statements such as “because Levy never played in any of the matches we lost”, says a lot. The chairman who is 1/3 of the transfer committee and hires the manager and decides on the transfer budget and policy and has ultimate sign off on trying to purchase a player, are you saying he has no influence on our results or more importantly our squad management and failure to capitalise on opportunities when we needed just a bit more clever investment to get us over the line?
because Levy never played in any of the matches we lost
His managerial hires have been pretty appalling to be honest :Didn’t Levy want Van Gaal the summer we hired Poch and it was only after he took the Netherlands to the World Cup semis that Unitrd came in for him and so we turned to Poch instead? Arguably our best manager in the last 30 years was our second choice and not the big name Levy wanted at the time. Unfortunately it looks like Levy this time went with the big established name in Mourinho when again we should’ve been looking at a young, progressive manager who could build on what Poch had done.
I think Enic are at the stage where they just have to spend on player transfers, despite what Levy said last week..
We went two summers without spending a cent and had UCL footy so they made a fair profit in those years but with the downward spiral that we are now in, if they dont spend big we will continue the downward trend and possibly lose some important players who have bigger ambitions that to just line their pockets. That means they will not be making the big money that they had been making over those couple of years.
This of course, assumes that they are more concerned about making money than winning games which may be the case as evidenced by not investing in a striker as we seemed to get away with winning with attacking mids.
What they dont seem to understand is that you have to win games to make money.
Honestly I've had enough of this argument. He's been I charge for our longest period without trophies, he hires and fires the managers and buys the players.
When do you start questioning the man at the top? Genuine question.
Because eventually the buck has to stop with him.
