I have it on extremely good authority. With the ‘dictatorship’ tactics carried out by the mega clubs in the UK, holding their academy elite youngsters to ransom, agents are refusing to tie their ‘elite’ clients down for more than 2 years. They are also insisting on heavy clauses (which I agree with) allowing these youngsters to explore different avenues of their choice; if one is offered, and they see no progress at their present clubs.

This will stop what chavs do, and citeh’s handling on Jadon Sancho for example. Forcing him to have no choice in moving to another PL club. UEFA, is behind this, and believed the PL will follow suit.

Well what's stopping City or Chelsea tempting these players by throwing more money at them in exchange for a longer contract?

There is a lot of investigation going on at present to stop this. I do not want to share deeper. But I support it.

I'd love to know how this would work, interesting nonetheless - thanks for sharing.

Also hinders us with our own. But I believe it would be a very good thing
Frankly, if we can't convince our own top talents that we are a place for them to improve and eventually a path to top-level football, then they should leave. As long as there are plans in place to make in not just about the $$.
