I think if some of you weren't obsessed with recieving ITK information then you'd have taken @King of the Lane's comment as opinion, which it clearly was.
When people make clear statements because they know something, that’s fine
When they express their opinion, often based on how we usually do business, then it’s nowhere near as certain.

And those who are in the know are doing a good job of clarifying when they are expressing their opinions rather than passing on information, so there’s no reason why anyone else can’t either
That’s my view, anyway

Right I already edited my post and added 'IMO' for those that need things spelled out in black and white. Can we stop derailing the thread now and move on please.

And i thought Pubalgia was an area in southern Italy with strong Cosa Nostra influence. Every days a school day

Orban is the only striker we will be bringing in IMO
I’d be fine with that as long as we spend the Kane money on wingers. We either need a striker that’s way more clinical than Richy or we need some wingers better suited to the system that will actually offer proper service from out wide. I’d be quite happy with a new LW, Son as the first choice striker and let Orban and Richy fight for the back up minutes. Kulusevski is young enough to adapt and he’s a better passer, crosser, dribbler and combines more smartly with others than Son, so I’ve got some faith in him coming good out wide but i think Son isn’t going to work out there

I can't see this happening, as much as Juve are in money trouble, they paid €70m for him £58mil/£66mil with add-ons, I don't see us spending basically all of the Kane money on a directly replacement.

That’s like half the Kane money? They want 70£ million euro for him according to reports. Something we could potentially lower by paying a larger chunk up front?

That being said I do think it’s unlikely.

I can't see them just accepting a like for like fee as to what they paid for him mate, they'll want to at least turn a profit so surely they'd be looking for 100mil euros+, as I said they paid 70mil euros for him so I doubt they'll accept that fee.

I just don't think we'll spent the whole Kane money on him but you never know. If we do and we still have cash for a decent 3rd CB option then fine but I think we also need a RW upgrade on Kulu too.

Unless of course some off the fee they 'paid' was add ons which have yet to kick in and therefore selling to us they wouldnt have to.

I mean every news report I can see says between 60 and 80 million euro. They have actively been entertaining the idea of selling him.

That along with WLB saying about swapping Richy for him, says to me that that’s the price.

Yea it was €70m for him £58mil/£66mil with add-ons.

But my point is that we will surely have to offer a significant amount more than than say minimum €90m but more likely €100m which is almost all the Kane money and I'd be surprised if that is how we spent it.

Fair enough, I've not seen any news reports saying they will sell at that price, only that they were considering a swap with Chelsea for Lukaku but if you have then that is promising.

As I posted in the ITK thread yesterday they do have significant money trouble so perhaps they would be willing to roughly get their money back especially if a lot of it was up-front payments.

I really don't see us swapping Richy for him but I'd be happy with that if we then used the remaining money to bring in a CB and RW and we got Orban too as we'd still be one striker short otherwise.

Lets see how it plans out, he's certainly the closest player I can think of to a 'Kane replacement' as you could get.

Also would the player consider us as we have no CL/European football.

Just doesn't seem too likely to me but we shall see, would be very nice if so and would be a real statement signing.

Depends on how much they want to keep him versus how much they need the cashola.
As an example, we apparently paid 60m for Richy, and we want to keep him.
Many would sell him for 50m and put it towards Vlahovic.
Possibly much like Juve who want Lukaku

+1 for finding out from this thread that pubalgia is what has been plaguing me. Off to the doctor then…

Research suggests surgery can fix it and have patient back within 12 weeks, though if Dusan has been affected by it for a long time with access to the best doctors in the world then it’s worrying it’s still plaguing him…

Pubalgia ended Kaka's career. It seems like It can be a real problem

Just to double check, in case I've missed it, I took the Richi swap comment to be nothing more than just a query from WLB rather than a realistic proposition?

Juventus have been banned from European competition for next season. I think they're going to appeal, unless they already have and failed?
