With Bale gone we spent 0. If we can upgrade Chadli with someone like Griezmann we could do well. He is the only weak point of our team except of Dawson and Rose, who, because of their homegrown status, are irreplacable. Our left side is constantly paralyzed with his performance. Opponent used to fear this side of our team, now they fear nothing and our LB has everything to worry.

Yes i read somewhere on another thread that someone was suggesting this, i am 100% certain we have totally pulled the wool over Wengers eyes today. I fully expect he's gone away from todays game convinced he now doesn't need to sign anyone

we let go Modric, VDV and Bale. They are almost all source of creativity of our team under Harry. Until now we failed to fully replace any of them. AVB asked Moutinho and Willian instead given Chadli, Dembele and Dempsey, who are not even remotely near the level of Madrid trio.

Moutinho was too was never going to come to us from Porto after the way avb snaked them and William chose Chelsea over us
think we should judge that in a few weeks once the window is shut and the players are settled

Are people really on AVB and teh teams back already?
Have any of you actually played football?
Do you realise that when joining a new team, it takes a little longer than 1 training session or several weeks to understand the footballers you are playing with.
You also realise that these people need time to settle in a new country - families, homes, schools, travel - everything you would need to sort out if you moved to a different country, difference is, you wouldn't be expected to work or perform until you were settled in new house.
It's going to take some time, I'd say get used to it for the next couple of months, because there are going to be a few not so great results coming in.
