Damn... we're screwed if Underboss Fab goes to the pokey. Who else is there to keep Levy honest and Conte happy?
I'm sure Paratici will find a cheap alternative
I can see it now , Fabio Paratici gets arrested and Fazio Paratuci takes his place

No arrests (yet) but payments under the table is a big deal and if FP was part of that then sanctions could be far reaching. Here's hoping this doesn't drag on too long, don't want this hanging over him and club for a number of years

If it has indeed been going on for years, then it's inconceivable that Paratici is not involved...

Fear not! Daniel Levy will be rolling up his shirt sleeves and cracking his knuckles as he prepares to oversee the January window. Big red ring around Jan 31st on his wall calendar.

if Levy has hired a crooked DF, surely his position becomes untenable? I’m sure Levy wouldn’t know what preceded his employment at Spurs but it’s pretty bad PR

So, if Levy didn't know that someone did something prior to his employment with the club his position would be untenable? I think you may be clutching at straws there mate, he isn't all knowing and seeing, he is just a little bald fella.

I agree, but I can't imagine he'll come out of the situation smelling of roses; a decision he made would've tarnished the reputation of the club, without prior knowledge or not. Whether anyone above Levy is bothered another to care, or inclined to think that way, is another question.

What happened at Juve has nothing to do with us. It will put anything he does under a microscope now though. I guess it depends if any other creative deals were included with us though. The deal for Romero, Kulusevski and Bentancur were all creative deals that involved Juve. Although I'm not sure how above board things were done and if that's really more on the Juve end. They always seemed like clever deals done by someone who knows their financial situation. At the end of the day we just benefited from it like some would benefit from a Mendes deal or any other number of deals. The Neymar deal as well was investigated. I could see a transfer ban for Juve as a possibility which in turn would not make them an attractive option to manage.

How can his decision tarnish the reputation of the club if he didn't know he had been 'naughty' at Juve ?

What is worrying is how we manipulated the RB and Kulu deal. If memory serves me right didn’t we agree a higher fee for Kulu meaning that Juve didn’t have to pay as much to RB’s previous club as a sell on clause?
I thought at the time it was ‘creative’, be interesting to see if anything does come of it, hopefully not though!

Hopefully bollocks

Juve's only involvement was purchasing him from Genoa and loaning him back. Our business was with Atalanta so I'm not certain why it'd involve him directly. I don't see how selling him for a loss to Atalanta would be illegal if they undervalued him or wanted to show a loss.

One article I read yesterday cited Kulusevski as an example of Juventus paying "inflated" transfer fees for signings, yet his value had roughly doubled 2.5 years later and it's hardly abnormal for a big club to pay a premium for a 19-year-old on the basis of their perceived potential. While there must have been something suspicious to trigger the investigation, it does feel like the media is clutching at straws more than a bit this week.
