We drew. It’s slightly embarrassing that we keep doing this when we lose.
And like Newcastle with 80% possession and 2 shots on target weren't worse. It’s slightly embarrassing that we keep doing this when we lose.

Apologies. You get my point though. He ain’t coming back. It may well be that Jose isn’t going to be at the club by Xmas if results don’t improve (sadly yet more transfer budget down the drain in compensation) but we will be getting someone else. It won’t be Poch.We drew.
You don’t know that. You didn’t even know we drew. How am I meant to take your advice now? Good day to you Sir! Your reputation is shot!Apologies. You get my point though. He ain’t coming back. Yes, I admit, I did make a twat of myself saying that we lost. I don’t know for certain that we won’t get Poch back but this thread is more about people not being happy with having Jose. I’m sure that you backed Poch to the end (I mean that genuinely, I’m not being sarcastic) but he was getting pelters over his attitude, the book, his demeanour, his massive reluctance to make decisive substitutions and the pedestrian football at the end. He was also pissed off that his increasingly unambiguous calls for backing were going unheeded. Nothing has changed enough to make me think that he’d want to come back. You don’t know that. Ah, shots... I remember them...
He’s said he wants to come back. No time frame admittedly.Yes, I admit, I did make a twat of myself saying that we lost. Therein lies the rub - It’s hard to imagine the current circumstances dictating that Poch would come back at this point even if DL sanctioned it.Poch was burnt out having to work through the circumstances that Spurs operate in, the same as the players which has left them mentally drained and looking like they need a 3 month break rather than just coming from and it's the same mechanics that will be the downfall of Jose. At a certain point those who defend those upstairs will have to acknowledge we are on a negative slide.
You’re forgetting the most important part. Amazon documentary plot twist. We wake up one morning to find Poch in the shower, the whole year has been a bad dream and we’ve got Liverpool in the Champions League Final.Therein lies the rub - It’s hard to imagine the current circumstances dictating that Poch would come back at this point even if DL sanctioned it.
I think that we have to forget the idea of ENIC selling up and the idea that any significant injection of cash would be forthcoming in the short term. DL in sacking Jose would be saddled with yet more compo to pay out, which means anyone coming in being even more hamstrung and even if they or Jose wanted to sell Kane to generate some serious cash for transfers, it’s hard to imagine it being sanctioned.
Do you lot realise how you come across posting in here when things don’t go our way? Serious ‘my wife left me and took the kids’ vibes.

i'm not going to say that we shouldn't have parted ways or deny that things had become stale towards the end, but I will say that we took him for granted at our best, particularly Levy. I don't know if it would have changed anything but I do know that throughout his time here we should have given that man whatever he wanted, full faith and no questions asked.
