A lot of South American players have wrestler like nicknames so I’m going to start calling Romero ‘El Bastardo’

I hope everyone’s ok with that.
You need shitehouses in every successful team. El Bastardo is one of the best. Is it right he makes me laugh with his antics?

Havertz yes, Sterling? I don't remember one unless you mean him running along and putting it over?

LC running through our back line, got a toe on it to Sterling, who cut back in and put it over the bar from 10 yards? Should have scored.

Love the way Conte just bats back the questions and then smiles in a half polite/half “I’m going to put a horses head in your bed later” way.

Appalling performance
Had to apologise To me Chelsea friends who kindly gave and a ticket. Great view for at least half the price of a Spurs ticket. Shame I had to watch such complete rubbish from a side with one obvious playing style who couldn’t even do that.

glad we stole a draw when we deserved thrashing. ?

This idiot from Sky is desperate to make something of this Conte Tuchel thing, it’s like The Sun interviewing them. Weak Sky, very weak.
Yeah he said Tuchel said it kicked off because he wouldn't look him in the eye, but Tuchel didn't say that at all. He played it all down to pure emotion and gave no actual reason at all.

Our opponents might not rate the way we played today, fair enough, but everyone will know when Spurs come to town, there will be blood. Fucking love it. If you can't be good, be bad.

Sterling had an easy shot - a bit more than a sitter though - that he put well over the bar.

I dunno what to expect from Sterling, he's not technically a goal scorer as much as he is someone to terrify the oppo's defence. He runs at people, he's got pace and can overlap like a jet ski, and he can pick a pass. When he stays out wide and makes runs from deeper, or cuts in behind, he's dangerous as hell but give him a chance in front of goal and time to overthink and he seems to naff it up more often than not.

How many clear cut chances did Chelsea create?

Havertz forced a good save from Lloris in the first half, in the second half James scored and Havertz missed a tap in from an incredible James cross.

We were poor for large parts of the game, they were better but they didn't deserve to win.

You need to put teams away when your in control and they didn't do that.

Tuchel is angry at his team more than anything else.

mate they dominated the game for the majority of the first half we couldn't get out - our midfield was ineffective mostly outnumbered and our forwards weren't in the game - you could even argue both of our goals owe a debt to poor decisions - we got lucky today of course you will take it but they were markedly the better team and we were very fortunate

Don’t think it will be too long before we see changes to the starting line up. Conte picked the strongest team available but once 2 or 3 of our new players are up to speed they’ll come in to improve the quality of the team. Perisic, Bissouma, and Lenglet will probably be starters in about 3-4 weeks; with Hojbjerg, Sess, and Dier/Davies dropping out. Richy might give Son a kick up the arse too as he’s been disappointing in these two games.

Just back from the pub, we were out played the whole game,
Everyone in the pub giving out about some of the decisions but we ended up with a point,
I couldn’t be happier. COYS
