Here is a map I made
It includes general information helpful to travel, night buses, Irish pubs, public showers, fan zones and all that. Hope it's useful for somebody.
There are bars around canellajas so you could go to one of those. But the stadium itself is very much in the middle of nowhere. Thanks, that's really helpful. I assume there's no reason to head towards the stadium if you're not going in, as there doesn't appear to be any way to watch the game outside of the stadium?
most of the services have washing/shower facilities, I'm sure the coach will stop prior to arrival in Madrid at one of these servicesFor those who are travelling by Zeelo (coach), have you found anywhere to shower/freshen up? I was thinking a local swimming pool or gym but proving difficult. Any guidance hugely appreciated.
If anyone has a hotel/airbnb, we (4 of us) will happily pay to use your facilities if in Central Madrid?
I don't drive so I can't really say. I've seen a lot of camper vans parked near lago. But I've got a feeling that has more to do with it being a nice park with a lake than for safety reasons. Madrid is super safe and I doubt anything bad will happen wherever you park (maybe avoid the south of Madrid, not that I believe it to be particularly dangerous, but just to be on the safe side).Great thanks Any ideas for safe parking a VW van Saturday night will be kipping in it ?? WTF?! They didnt mention I when I emailed and called....! Will investigate!Someone or TFC has said James Joyce pub is decked out in Liverpool colours.

That area just below Alonso Martinez station is nice. A few bars and an open plan square pedestrianised area.... if James Joyce is red, might be a decent alternative. Thanks, that's really helpful.
