Yeah it has to be King. I love Robbie Keane, but King is our captain. Robbie knows that though and he'll have no problem with it. I agree they should lift the cup together, while we all should lift our glasses to two Tottenham Legends.

On the basis that a captain should be a leader of men and lead by example, showing courage and intelligence, if everyone is fit Keane would probably be about 10th just ahad of Cerny. How can you consider a player as captain who is afraid of physical contact. Who is capable of playing like he did against Arsenal and ManU and then play like he did today and many other games.

My choices would be:

1. King
2. jenas
3. Woodgate
4. Malbranque

Maybe I'm being really pedantic here, but I'm not sure there's room at the top of those steps for 2 players to lift it together. When Liverpool did it for Redknapp it was at Cardiff where the whole presentation area was very open. On the Wembley steps it could be tricky.

Anyways, Keano is the first to recognise what a massive impact it has on the team when King plays, so if Ledders plays he has to be skipper. You can tell from the effect he has on the team what huge respect the other players have for him. Forget about players who scream and beat their chests, King leads by example.

Yes he's not played much this season, but when he has he's been the best player on the pitch imo.

Has to be King, think Keane is a great player but i.m.o. a captain should be able to see all of the game in front of him i.e a back player.

If King is fit then definitely both of them to lift the cup. Keane has been instrumental this season and while Leds is the club captain, he's hardly played.

It should be Robbo. I can just see it now, gets presented with the cup only to drop it.

Only joking, I love Robbo, and I love Keano but for me there is only one man that should be presented with the cup, and that's Ledley.

I would give the armband to King but, when we win and go to collect the cup I think King and Keane should go together.

No. That would just look ridiculous.

Ledley will be captain. Ledley will lift the trophy first. Keane can wait his turn.

Defo Ledders he's waited for so long for an opportunity like this, then the arm flapping Keano.

if King is fit then there is not even a debate over who is captain, it goes to King!

but as nidge said, when we do win it, King and Keane should be first nones up and lfit it together
i would be more than happy to see that..king should always be the skipper when fit but keano has done a great job.
