You’re right. I was thinking we were still waiting on Forest penalty.Forest already got their 4 points. They haven't been charged again yet have they?

Citeh & Cheatski will find away around it like they always do. Everton & Forest have been stupid and the punishment seems extremely lenient. As one poster said feel sorry for Luton & Brentford. I'd rather they stayed in prem than Everton or Forest. If Everton get 8 points for their breaches reckon city might end up getting relegated to the Women's Premier League when they're finally done
Think you have to read the judgement to see how the independent commission arrive at the two point penalty, it was five points deduction reduced by three for mitigation. The PL set a precedent with 10 points, realised it could relegate Everton so cut it to 6.
Now they have made it just 2 for the same offence when in my view it should be more for a repeat.
Very unfair on the rest of the bottom clubs in my view as the points deduction will have very little affect on their season as they would only still be three places higher so costing them nothing.
But that's bullshit. You can't reduce the points taken because they've already been penalised once. You should increase them as they've not learned their lessonThink you have to read the judgement to see how the independent commission arrive at the two point penalty.

I'm still not convinced Everton losing their dodgy funding, admitting to the offence (which would be obvious from the accounts anyway), and repeating the offence should be grounds for a ridiculously low points reduction.Think you have to read the judgement to see how the independent commission arrive at the two point penalty, it was five points deduction reduced by three for mitigation.
Not out of trouble yet when you look at their games , especially if Luton continue a mini revival.Everton need to thank Sheff Utd, Burnley and Luton for being so shite. Had this happened last season, they would have been relegated
If that's their thinking, give them 2 points now and a deffered 4 points for next season thenIf the penalties were done in separate seasons, or in a timely manner for the corresponding years, I would agree. But as they have just been done for one offence and then using some of the same seasons to punish again would be harsh.
The FA need to be looking at the finances a lot sooner so proper punishments can be assigned at the time IMO. But everyone have got lucky in how few points they have lost plus how poor the bottom few clubs are this year.
and seemingly likely to lose their two best outfield players at least according to the BBC Transfer News section.I think they’ll scrape by and stay up now. But will they manage it again next year? They aren’t going to be much better off financially, so they can’t exactly invest heavily either.
If Leicester and Leeds come up next year, I expect them to pick up more points than any of Luton, Sheff U and Burnley have done this season, so Everton will be back in the shit along with Forest, (play off winner), Brentford and Bournemouth.and seemingly likely to lose their two best outfield players at least according to the BBC Transfer News section.
The loss of the bankrolling of the silent partner due to Putin invading Ukraine Is considered a mitigating factor helping their case?!?!?!?!? Hahahaahah. At least the league is transparent that they are a fucking joke.Think you have to read the judgement to see how the independent commission arrive at the two point penalty, it was five points deduction reduced by three for mitigation.
Well they’ve already written of £900k a week over twenty years from AbramovichThe loss of the bankrolling of the silent partner due to Putin invading Ukraine Is considered a mitigating factor helping their case?!?!?!?!? Hahahaahah. At least the league is transparent that they are a fucking joke.
That was part of Everton's plea for mitigation, the Premier League said it should not be a mitigating factor, if the three man panel of James Drake K.C., Kwadjo Adjepong and Michael Kaltz FCA have accepted that mitigation then that is their desicion not the Premier League's.The loss of the bankrolling of the silent partner due to Putin invading Ukraine Is considered a mitigating factor helping their case?!?!?!?!? Set to appeal. Hoping they get a bigger deduction as 2 points is already super lenient and they are clearly being frivolous.
It's all setting the scene for a lenient sentencing for the bigger clubs breaches
