Devils advocate position on this is that we have enough players with plenty of experience that can’t keep their nerve and see out a game. Both lads are very talented so are we really worse off?

I think Reguillon is a fantastic signing, but definitely didn't cover himself in glory defensively in the last 10 minutes against west ham.

But the broader point, and a very simple point, is this. Players are not numbers. Its not like someone has an 83 and another has a 80, like in fifa. They bring their own attributes, they can need rests etc.

Rondon on the other hand, is completely untested at this level, has just come in and I don't even believe he was signed to be first choice but for the future. Definitely going off Mourinho's comments of him anyway. Being first choice for Wales doesn't really mean much either all their other CB options are either not PL quality or very young.
