I think at times it has been, but he still certainly hasn't looked a liability. And like said, to me he has played the ball out from the back better than anyone else who's been beside him.

Of course he's not the ideal starter, but 99% of Bayern fans also know he's just back up and they seem to be happy to have him there knowing that he'd be content to be 4th choice CB if/when it comes to that. They wouldn't be happy if he was staying with the view to be a starter for them, but they know that's not the case.

Just think it's harsh to single him out. If you have watched the games like I also have, you'd know that them playing shit and dropping points really isn't the fault of Dier or the influence that Dier has on them.

Also, if you want to know the view of the German speaking Bayern fans(translated by Google Translate):

Fair enough mate and yea it’s certainly not only Diers fault, they were heading to poor form before he joined, Muller looks so past it now, Tuchels tactics are a bit all over the place, Sane has been a bit greedy at times, overall it’s just not clicking.

Yeah I think they have plenty of other problems. Their fans seem to be questioning Kane more than Dier if anything. Incredible really. All of a sudden their squad looks like it's lacking a lot, but Tuchel hasn't helped so it's hard to tell how much work is needed.

amazing really, he’s probably the only reason they’re at least 2nd

Leverkusen up a man in their match. Should 10 points clear at the top after today.

They’re winning now. Assuming they win today, 7 more wins from their remaining 10 matches will guarantee the title.

I can’t see Munich winning all of their 10 remaining matches though anyway.

German league is so boring.

Anyone does better than Bayern, Bayern just buy their star players or take the manager from them…

Bayern currently 7-1 up against Mainz with Harold scoring a hat-trick and putting a lovely assist across the pitch to Musiala for their 5th.
