One other thing to add. The lad prefers move to Tottenham over United. He may decide to wait until summer for us. He hasn’t necessarily chosen United over us. It’s just a massive deal which is unusual in the Jan market for a number of reasons. Still hopeful just looks unlikely in this window

I'm assuming because of the financials. I expect the personal agreement that was in place in the summer is there to agree again. Its just the fee and how its structured. Always the tricky part for our bald coot.

If there’s a way to convince BF to wait, this might not be the worst option. Give a little more time to see how GLC does (just frombiz standpoint we need to buy for 27), see how Eze finishes the year, see how Gedson works out. BF is a ton of money with a lot of positional overlap.

It’s Man Utd after him, not Burnley. All things being equal he might favour us over them, but if Utd agree a fee he won’t hang around on the off chance we can haggle with his club for the whole summer before waking away.

No BF. Suzy might not fancy GLC. Fuck everything, basically.

Scenes when he tears it up for the rest of the season at United and hands in a transfer request because he wants to play for us :ROFLMAO:

Saw this earlier and feel so disappointed. JM apparently likes/wants BF so not sure why we’re not involved or maybe we are and Utd are just blowing us out financially.

obviously things can change quickly with transfers but if he goes to Utd then he’ll be awesome for them I think.

Hoping this works out for us. Would be nice to actually give our manager his first choice signing for once.

This is really disappointing. It looks like it was a clear choice between him and Lo Celso and now there is a possibility we end up with neither.

Transfers are not the be all and end all when it comes to following/supporting a football club, but fucked if I am gutty sick and tired of my club fucking it up and then doubling down when they do make a mistake.

Typical Spurs. Should have got him in the summer as an early replacement for Eriksen, and then either sold him for whatever we could get or stick him in the reserves. Yes, keeping Eriksen would be a hit on the wages front, but we'd have a motivated, hungry new attacking midfielder as his replacement.

Instead, keep Eriksen, watch him stroll his way through games for half a season - maybe even the full season - let United get BF, watch Eriksen leave on a free in the summer, and then need to spend an absolute fortune replacing him, when prices will be even higher. Or, more likely, get some fifth choice option in for half the price.

Real shame, he looks like a star.

And while I'm on the warpath while Mourinho may not like the looks of Lo Celso it's not like Poch moved heaven and earth to play him either (injury accepted).

The summer window was a fucking disaster, and now we're doubling down on it this January. What a fucking joke.

Poch was backed and given his first choices in the Summer. Yes they were late on but ITK has already suggested that Betis continually messed us around and Sess was injured.

Bruno has said himself that in the summer we were only club he agreed with, we've had ITK that he is still keen on joining us. We know that the manager is infact a fan. So I'll be interested to see what justification there is that this hasn't been done. Where's the money we had supposedly on Dybala? I'm sure Eriksen not leaving will be blamed.

Of course it will be nobodies responsibility.

Actually doesn't make any sense, the only reason I could think stopping this from happening is literally just Levy... ffs
