Welcome to the Brighton Vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

It was something due to Brighton having their next match down as someone else.

But their OS has us as the next game. It's also a sky pick, so I'm sure there will be pressure to make sure the game goes a head

Seeing this may be postponed due to rail strikes ?

The prem and both clubs should sort out free coaches to ensure another game isn't postponed.
The fixture congestion is bad enough.

I'm sure I saw that we are putting in extra coaches.
This was before any talk of the game being called off

I’m really looking forward to this one.
Actually I am not really. I haven’t looked for to a game for a while now. They are more something to get through with a result hopefully !

I hope whoever we play next, there are going to some banners held up within the Spurs sections paying tribute to Gian Piero Ventrone our recently acquired fitness coach who was apparently so loved by the players, but who tragically died a few days ago. Gian Piero RIP.

No idea what to expect from their new coach now he's had a bit of time with them. Let's hope they're experiencing a bit of a transitional period between managers and we can catch them out.

Head says 1-1.

Only Emerson confirmed out along with Moura and Kulusevski so seems Dier is ok. Hope the players are really fired up and dedicate this to Ventrone in style. Would be fitting to show that ultra fit high energy pressing game.

Brighton are a good team but not sure general fans will accept anything other than a win.

I just wanna see a continuation of Frankfurt, highly aggressive pressing and lots of effort.

Brighton are a very good side and their manager has made a great start. Trossard is in sparkling form and if he ends up going to arsenal that's bad news. I suspect this might be the game when Conte finally concedes that we need an extra body in midfield for some games and starts Bissouma. If we start with just Hojberg and Bentancur, however, and just switch the fullbacks, with Brighton's midfield, it could be a very uncomfortable game for us.

We have the benefit of conte having played against this guy before. Our away record isn't the best though and brighton are a good, settled team which the new manager seems to have just carried on with what potter was doing.

They left a lot of space behind them against Liverpool so we should be able to create chances. Let's just hope we are more clinical than on Tuesday and last weekend. I fancy us for this one, people are starting to write us off already so I think we will prove a few people wrong.

I’m not confident of a win here. Two losses on the bounce would be a bit of a disaster.

Yes it would. That's why I'm hoping for a three man midfield with Bissouma, Hojbjerg and Bentancur (or Skipp). That should give us other offensive options. It has to be 3-5-2 for me.
