No thanks, he hasn’t seemed overly great for Chelsea.

And they don’t sell to us anyways.

I think he's a decent player actually. As for the issue of him "falsely accusing us of racism". That isn't what happened at all...he THOUGHT he heard racist abuse and rightly reported it.

I cant be sanctimonious because I once mistakenly thought someone was making monkey chants when in fact he was simply doing our "who who who let Y*ds out" chant. Very easy to mistake the "who who who" as a monkey chant.

After the investigation, he was quiet open stating that he disagreed with the result and stated that he’d been racially abused as matter of fact and that the racists had won. To my mind anyway, the below quote reads as though he is adamant that someone has got away with racially abusing him, though I’m happy to be corrected.

“I’m very careful with this,” Rüdiger said. “I’m not in the investigations. I’m not a police officer. I just hope always people do their job right. But nothing happened and, to be honest, it was not a surprise. They always get away with it. Not always, sometimes they get punished but mostly they get away with it.”

Most important part of the article for me

Tottenham Hotspur have lined up Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger as a surprise alternative to Milan Skriniar if they cannot agree a deal for the Slovakia international from Inter Milan.

Is it really so hard to believe that someone might have been racist toward him? Camera’s cant catch everything. It is highly possible, maybe probable even, that someone was racist toward him. Time to stop this “he falsely accused us of racism” bullshit.

Matt Law is quite good regarding Spurs isn't he? I remember he was quite quick on the Poch stuff and more recently was the first to report Dele was potentially leaving.

Hit and miss. Think Mike McGrath gets better info or more bang on, anyway.

No. I don’t want to explode this topic but what I find hard to believe is that a player not near the touch line, amidst a cacophony off noise and jeering, could make out a monkey chant so clearly that he believed without a shadow of a doubt that it happened.

I fully accept that he feels he heard something. I also fully accept that as someone not privy to the lengths police in this country go to to investigate allegations of racism (and through my time working with defence solicitors I’ve witnessed this very close up) he may have (in my opinion ill informed) doubts over the process used to try to substantiate his claims. But that’s different from him putting out that he is 100% about what he heard and that the authorities/investigations/club have failed to show it.

It’s an emotive subject and I don’t want to become embroiled in further conversation about it, but I can guarantee you that in this country, if there is even the slightest shred of evidence of racial aggravation in an offence, the police with struggle not to pursue charges.

I mean more to the point, he's fucking shit. Chelsea are fucking terrible at the back and he doesn't get in their team and he has pace so it's not the same as not fitting into the system. He's simply shit.
