Antonio Conte believes some players are happy to stay in the comfort zone and settle for mediocrity, no matter who is the coach; Conte also believes if the culture at a club is not right then the club is never going to be successful.

The papers are reporting we are actively approaching coaches now.
That is going to be very humiliating for him, and wont improve his mood, but he can always resign.

We should have been approaching coaches anyway, for the summer vacancy. It is not nice, but he doesn't want the job next season, so it is not constructive dismissal.

Hopefully we will take a more careful view over the next appointment and take someone who is a good fit but also has a real plan.

What’s happening with Conte was entirely predictable, indeed millions did predict it. So there is nothing different here. So let him squirm now, back track in what he said etc., and get rid of him when we are ready. A decent manager can easily still get us fourth but Conte can’t stay. I am also thinking about all the youngsters we have out on loan etc. They need to feel that they will get a chance to show a new manager what they can do … sure Kane might go but the club is more than one player and we need to be building around some of the quality younger players we have

Not too long ago so many folks on here was saying Levy’s head needs to roll if Conte walks. Now most want to walk him out the door themselves!!

And so the cycle continues. Tottenham will never compete regularly for trophies while ENIC are owners.

Can you imagine how good would would be if Levy was as passionate and paid the same attention to detail – no expense spared – as he did with the Stadium and redevelopment and also does with the rest of the Tottenham entertainment brand? We'd be one of the best clubs in world football.
