Fuckin hell. I 'm a big USWNT supporter and wow this has me happy. Alex Morgan is a fantastic player and the fact she's gonna play for Spurs is just awesome. She scored over 100 goals for USWNT so that's something.

This cannot be underrated, she’s one of the top ten goalscorers in the history of women’s international football at the age of 31. Was just the runner up for Fifa World Footballer of the year. Her and Rapinoe are head and shoulders ahead of anyone else in terms of fame in the women’s game. This is a Messi level signing in the scope of the women’s game.

Then the world really is moving on, because I suspect ten years ago you’d have noticed that she has a great arse or big tits.

I want Spurs to be the best at everything we do, and I suspect women’s’ football will become increasingly mainstream. If we’ve signed a female Sterling, then great,‘cos I’d have the male version too.
