A good deal considering his age, but I’d still much rather Sanchez and Dier leave before him.

I thought he wanted to return to Belgium in order for his children to experience their schools, education and lifestyle?

That would be fair and bring our total defensive outgoings to £28m (Toby + Foyth). That's most of the money needed for Romero...who some still think we can only buy if we have Kane money.

"Subject to personal terms".
I always take these articles with a pinch of salt anyway but, as you point out, personal terms could be a hitch.

The club have agreed a deal. That doesn't mean Toby wants to go. I hope he's not being pushed out and it's something he really wants to do. He deserves a move that's really good for him. Good luck to him if it happens.
Hopefully it means Romero is coming

Good move for all concerned.

Best of luck to him. He deserves a last payday

I’d completely forgotten about Foyth’s move being made permanent.

Who’s our next manager?

It came from a small enclave between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

I’ve read a few times that Toby loves old American cartoons, Tom and Jerry, Top Cat, The Flintstomes amd so on. I think he should have gone to Abu Dhabi to be honest. All members of the United Arab Emirates are prohibited,by law, from broadcasting ‘The Flintstnes’ but Abu Dhabi do.
