So depressing , in what should be such an exciting season we have an endless list of long term injuries to vital players. It’s going to be brutal up until mid Jan February

Such a gut punch when it’s the result of a cowardly, nasty, unnecessary tackle like that. What kind of person does that to a fellow professional who has just returned from a 9 month injury lay off? Matty Cash is human garbage, and I will applaud the player on our team who exacts some retribution

But this is yet another example of weak, pathetic refereeing failing to protect players. Maddison was systematically targeted by opposing players for weeks the Chelsea game was just a ramping up of that where from the kick off they were going through his ankles at every opportunity. The referee did fuck all to discourage it and clamp down on it, as a result one of our key players and one of the best players in the league is out for at least a quarter of the games. This is what the PL should be worrying about and telling refs to clamp down on, not dissent (which is often justified) or kicking a ball away. You get an instant yellow card for this, but endangering a players health you get 2 or 3 cracks at it before it gets a yellow!! Madness, and quite frankly pathetic

Or maybe just don't believe every little snippet as gospel, especially when it come to injuries it's always best to wait for something official.

@Hercules passed on in good faith, it's not his fault you got over-excited.

My point was it wasn't helpful .

I'll stick to that actually .

Yes, I will accept the laughter and the rest. I deserve it. I gave an honest appraisal from what I heard within his camp. I shouid of held out, and shared behind closed doors like I normally do. Sorry for raising all hopes, including mine
Nothing to apologise for.

No apology is necessary. It was done in good faith. You've provided so much insight over the years that one errant pass can be easily overlooked. The last thing we want is an ITK acting like he is playing for Jose or Antonio.

I think anything not related to his knee has to be seen as positive. A real blow to have another sustained period on the sidelines both to Bentancur and Spurs.

Extremely poor tackle, damn frustrating to lose another player and particularly one that not only was coming back from a long term injury but also had previously made our midfield tick and looked like he was going to be doing so again.

Speedy recovery please

Agree, if we chastise the likes of @Hercules for passing on info in good faith we will end up with zero ITK and nobody wants that. I’d rather they pass on whatever info they have.

You know how itk goes, sometimes it's right and sometimes it's not.

It's not the itk's fault for passing on the info, we should be thankful that they do and comments like yours make people less inclined to do so.

They are not responsible for our reaction to whatever information they share, be it on transfers or injuries.

If we've got nothing to play for by the time we play the again. One of ours needs to finish him off
